Left 4 Dead online

After many long weeks of trying to get online with Left 4 Dead, I finally fixed the game! Now, I can actually play online! Obviously, only on cracked servers - I downloaded the game.

Anyway, it is SO much more fun that the singleplayer campaign!

I loved playing as the tank in the Versus mode! Although I will admit that it is really boring playing as the Infected when you're a hunter. Smokers are OK, but boomers are serious fun - you can really annoy the survivors by just jumping off the ceiling and vomiting all over them, and then the horde comes! Although of course, the Survivors are overpowered. One person can easily kill an entire hord. -.-
Bye.

Fangoria & OBK

Ever heard of the two groups I mentioned in the title of this post? Probably not, unless you're Spanish.

The last two weeks or so before going to school I was bored. One day, I didn't feel like playing Fiesta, Call of Duty or even Left 4 Dead (o.O) so instead I started searching for a song on YouTube, called "QuiƩreme Otra Vez" (Love me once again). Apart from being a superb song with an outstanding rythm, it also has the oddest videoclip I have ever seen. EVER. Here's the link. Watch it all, trust me, it's hard to not enjoy it. xD

Back? OK, good. Well, as you can see, it's a... weird videoclip. Creepy, odd, different, those words all apply. Anyway, as I was saying, I listened to that song loads of times. I've fallen in love with that videoclip, it simply leaves me stunned every time I see it. So then I started looking for more songs by the group (OBK). I listened to a few, and they were incredible. They're all a perfect balance between techno, electronica, pop, pop-rock and alternative. I adore the voice of the singer and the style of the songs. They all have some sort of creepy tone to them, even if they're the sweet love songs or the fast rock ones, they all have that thing to them.... Hard to explain.

I think it's safe to say that they're one of my new favourite groups. I will admit that I do prefer another one though: Fangoria.

Fangoria's singer is extremely famous in Spain. Known to be redically different and always creating news and gossip, she's also known throughout the nation to be an extremely humble, friendly and surprisingly normal person, despite her appearance, her voice, and her songs. Just to show how famous she is, she's a very close friend of our royal family!

Anyway, their (Fangoria's) songs are very gothic-like, with a nice touch of pop and an original cross between those two and then rock. It's an explosive cocktail that can only have one result: very catchy, enjoyable, and creepy music. ^^

So, yeah, summing up, I like things that are different, especially music. And seeing as music = life mc squared, I think it's quite important.

G' night.

Back at school

I started school on Wednesday the 2nd. Yay! Work. And now, let's get serious. When you go to school, there's lots of things you're thinking about constantly:

1) Peer pressure
2) Not say or do stupid things infront of others
3) Be good looking -.-
4) Not hanging out with the nerds
5) Being cool

LIES.

Let's face it. The average person that gives peer pressure, doesn't say stupid things, is good looking, doesn't hang out with nerds and tries to be cool is unfortunately unfairly popular. You, meanwhile, the sarcastic but friendly guy that's intelligent but respected by his friends is unfairly UNpopular. Why? Because society is messed up. Now it's not cool to be intelligent, but the more of an idiot you are, the more popular you get.

That, my friends, is one of the many things I hate about school. What else do I hate? The idiots there. The corrupt bosses. The little sons of a rich daddy that has seven yots and twelve Porches. The work. The homework. The pressure. The stupid idiots (yes, again). The stuck-up idiots. The suck-up idiots. The show-off idiots. Idiots, idiots, and more of idiots. School is a wave of idiots that should finish as soon as possible, just like the offers on lentils in the supermarkets.

I hate that place.

Random post o.O

Here I am, second post in three minutes. o.o Anyway, does anybody here happen to play Fiesta? ... No one? OK. Well, Fiesta is a game managed by Gamigo, a german company that have created a generous amount of games, ALL free, and ALL online. Well, Fiesta happens to be just about the worst game I've played! Why?

1) Loads of 2D stuff

2) AWFUL graphics. Textures are terrible, and the models are just disgusting. Lots of monsters have squared feet.

3) Seriously bad lag. The client has really bad memory leak issues, so after playing for not even three minutes, the lag accumulates and you get awful performance.

4) Loads of bugs, including broken quests, missing items, NPCs not talking to you, animation glitches, etc.

5) Let's not forget that it has one of the worst translations I have ever seen in my life. Map names and monster names in german, weapon effects in german, and so on, NPC's dialogue in german...

6) Pathetic story lines. The quests are extremely basic and a five-year-old could have done better. ALWAYS the same - either go and kill this, or bring me this, or take this to someone, or listen to this. NEVER a proper storyline.

7) Absolutely NO interaction. Surroundings do not change with what you do (they're not illuminated by spells, your shadow doesn't go on walls, grass doesn't move when you step on it, there's no wind, etc.) All you can do is kill enemies, pick up items they drop, or gather wood or herbs from trees and plants.

8) VERY small maps.

9) There's a severe lack of life in the game. There are barely any NPCs in the cities, their dialogue is always the same...

10) There are many repeated enemies, and hardly any different ones. Most foes are completely identical to each other, even if they're different people/creatures (ogres look exactly the same as each other, and there's 3 types of ogres).

11) Very bad website.

12) Hardly anybody on the Englsih server.

So why do I play it? There might be very few people, but the ones that are on are almost always very friendly, talkative, helpful, and nice. If it weren't for the players, I would have left that game long ago.

One small step for man, one great leap for humanity

Before anything, let's get one thing clear: It's 0:47. Lighting strikes as thunder roars, barely audible over the intense rain that the people of Hell's Way Road are suffering tonight.

The clock ticks. Twelve minutes to one. I can't sleep. My family have all gone out, and I stayed at home. The dog's asleep. The TV just keeps flickering. Weird static. I'm bored, so I get away from the computer for a minute to get a drink. Suddenly, somebody knocks at the door. I slowly get close to the entrance. The cold floor creaks under my bare feet, as the wind howls and the walls of the house shake. I try not to panick. Slowly, my hand moves forwards, shaking at the same time, and I open the door...

AAAH!

The postman. -.-

Anyway, that's another story. Point is, this blog is about moi and my interests. Don't like same things as me? Go away. ^.^ Don't like me? Screw you. .__. This blog is for those that are also interested in technology, games, etc.

And don't spam me. SPAM = DEATH.
